Welcome to the Alexander School
We Offer Superior Education with the Privilege of Attention
The Alexander School is a premier private school in the Dallas area, offering a college preparatory curriculum in a small school setting. Students in grades 8-12 enjoy a relaxed, friendly, attractive atmosphere that is most conducive to learning. Limited enrollment insures that each student receives the personal attention that all young people deserve.
Established in 1975 by Director David B. Bowlin and named after Alexander the Great, the objective of the school is to guide the individual in achieving his or her full potential. Dedicated to personal growth and academic excellence, The Alexander School encourages each student through the individual attention provided by small classes. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and recognized by Texas Education Agency as an accredited secondary school, this program has produced five students with National Merit Recognition, one National Merit Scholar, and four AP Scholars.
The above image of Alexander the Great is actually a photograph of a 4 foot by 8 foot tile mosaic created by Alexander Art students. It currently hangs in the lobby of the school.
