Community Service

Alexander students enjoy helping out in the community. Junior and Senior students are required to earn volunteer hours toward their graduation.

This year Alexander students organized a collection for a family left homeless following the Katrina disaster.

Many students and families participated in the event.

Each year the Meadows Foundation donates $500 to the Alexander School to be given to the charity of choice. This year the Student Council elected to donate the money to the SPCA of Texas. A spokesperson for the charity, Becca Spear, and her partner, Duncan, came to the school to receive the donation. Ian Layer, Student Council President, presented the check.
